From Hillary Clinton to Lindsey Graham to Mitch McConnell, virtually every public figure in America is against the decision by Donald Trump to abruptly withdraw our military from northern Syria and to abandon our Kurdish allies to the Turkish armed forces.

In June, 2019, deputy assistant secretary of defense for the Middle East Michael Mulroy stated that: “The SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) grew from a few hundred members in 2015 to what is today: a thousands-strong, multi-ethnic force of Syrians that includes Arabs, Kurds,Syriac and other ethnic groups…SDF forces have been fighting to take back their homeland from ISIS,” he continued, “and they remain committed, despite suffering thousands of casualties.” (Kurdistan24, June 30, 2019).
