Flint was the perfect opportunity to show what an activist government can do-to supply clean water quickly, to remedy the problem of failing to coat the intake pipes from the newly-chosen river, to supply filters to households until remediation was complete, and to perp walk the high officials who knew Flint’s citizens were being poisoned and who did nothing. None of those things happened. And we fonder why minority voters are not married to the Democrats?
