How many of today’s young people are raised in homes with a consistent male presence? I concede that not all fathers in intact monogamous marriages are saints. Many of them may not have been raised in homes with a stable, decent male parent. I merely suggest that part of the problem-but far from all of it-is that fat too many boys lack a suitable role model.
