I find it fascinating that Mr. Dyer took down the original version of his posting which referred favorably to necklacing. It would appear he had a sense of the posting’s incendiary nature and the responses he received caused second thoughts. Of course, the revision might just be a way to avoid damaging his brand to Medium readers.
