I had heard about the “Green Book” for years. I knew these towns existed in the past, and I knew when growing up that there were many parts of cities where black peoples dared not go. It is horrible to read that this situation still exists. I must say I was shocked and surprised to hear Cherry Hill, NJ characterized in that manner. I live not far from there and I had never heard that about that community. Is that still true?
