I have several reactions:

1. The fact that you have thought through the psychological and moral aspects of your conduct and have set the limits you have set shows that you are a good person.
2. The issues with which you and your clients are dealing are real. Society can pretend they don’t exist, and continue to condemn you and your clients. As a great man once said, you can choose your opinions. You can’t choose your own facts.
3. Your piece confirms my view that criminal penalties for paid sex work is bad policy. Criminal penalties do not stop any form of sexual activity. They also endanger the practitioner in so many ways. Maybe society can be motivated using the ultimate argument: money. Why spend law enforcement dollars in a manner guaranteed to fail?
