I remember bits and snatches of news about Vietnam after 1975. I remember reading about how bad things were for the people who opposed the North. I never understood the world’s condemnation of the Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia. There may have been other motives, but I always thought Vietnam’s actions saved lives. Our present decent relations with Vietnam show how truly needless that war was.
