I respectfully dissent. Older candidates did not block Bill Clinton snd Barack Obama. If all of the votes in Miami snd Dade County had been counted in 2000, Al Gore might well have won. Maybe Bernie has political candlepower because he stands for something. I don’t say that as a supporter-I am not-but I give credit where due. If young people create winning ideas snd spend time building a movement, they have as good a shot as anyone.
