I understand that what you describe occurs. What I can’t understand is why those moms don’t repeatedly bring those issues up with their husbands- if for no other reason than to educate their sons and slowly make changes over generations in that behavior. Obviously, that can’t work if there is a risk of violence. But unfortunately there are men who truly don’t get the fact that their behavior poisons their relationships with their wives.
