In Israel, residents of the ultra-Orthodox community of Beni Barak ignored the guidance against congregating in groups. People went to stores and synagogues as if everything was normal. As of this morning, it is estimated that 38% of the residents have the virus. Finally, the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox community have acted. Religious leaders here should learn from that. To their honor and credit, most of them have-virtually all denominations, no matter the level of orthodoxy. Religious leaders who conduct public, in-person services commit attempted murder.
