My deepest concern is that most Americans are looking to restore the country and the world they perceive existed at the end of 2019. This comment is being posted after Chauvin’s conviction. However, the central point of your article remains valid: black Americans will not go back to being quiet and just work through the political and legislative processes-nor should they. Fortunately, the resolution of the numerous crises that confront America will require changes which will help the black community. I look forward to writing more about that in the future.
