The Speech Biden Should Give NOW
As of November 9, 2023, American forces are on land bases in the Middle East and our naval forces are in the Mediterranean. Both have been attacked by Iranian-backed militias. While our defenses are very strong and have largely dealt with the problem, the attackers have to be successful only one time to inflict terrible damage on our military. Given the failure of United States to respond strongly against Iran in the past, and in view of our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan recently, I and many other Americans fear that our ability to deter Iran from taking action against us has almost vanished.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an attack on innocent civilians. 32 American citizens were killed and over 20 remain hostage of that terrorist organization. Hundreds of Americans remain trapped in Gaza because Hamas will not let them out.
The terroristic acts of Hamas could not have taken place without the financing, equipping and training of the terrorists by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
