There was a time I would have dismissed a column such as yours as the harangue of a black radical. No more. What you wrote does not have to be the way our future unfolds. But it will be unless we take action far stronger than we have taken so far. And, no matter the moves toward racial justice we take, they must be accompanied by economic justice for the bottom two-thirds of Americans.
