Umair, I find it amusing how people struggle to attack you as they refuse to deal with what I see is your central argument: the failure of the left to both have and to communicate a positive vision of the future. While I can’t say I agree with giving oceans or koalas a vote, a responsible left could create a program to protect both (and all of us) and create the coalitions needed to enact that program. I admire your courage. Challenging orthodoxy is not rewarded these days!
