You are right to be cynical about the possibility of Trump going to jail. However, from what I have ascertained from listening to the commentators, the baseline sentence for a conviction for RICO in Georgia involves a five year prison term. Lower level members of the organization are given reduced sentences if they played a minor role or pled guilty. While I have not researched it, I do not believe that a person would be eligible for a pardon if they were on parole, as opposed to having completed the term of parole. Unfortunately, people always seem to find a workaround for Trump.
